| Dr. Chichi Mezu has been providing comprehensive eye care across the GTA since 2003. She is an extremely efficient and thorough clinician. She aims to address individual patient’s needs and concerns by listening to her patients and educating them on how to best care for their eyes through regular eye examinations and preventative ocular health. |
| She examines toddlers and infants as young as six months. She has been a strong advocate for children’s eye care in the community where she stresses the connection between vision and learning to parents and teachers in the surrounding elementary schools. |
| Dr. Mezu has extensive experience with complicated contact lens fit including soft, hard and bifocal contact lens design. She provides excellent care for patients with corneal diseases such as Keratoconus, and patients who have had corneal transplants. |
| She provides Low Vision assessment and Visual aids for individuals with impaired vision to whom other medical and surgical treatment cannot provide any further visual improvement. |
| Dr. Mezu is a graduate of the School of Optometry at the University of Waterloo. She completed her externship in Ocular disease at the Omni Eye Hospital in Atlanta Georgia. She is certified in ocular therapeutics and Laser Refractive surgery co-management. |
| Dr. Mezu is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Canadian Association of Optometrists. |
